Exirom

Migrating to Exirom is a developer-focused migration guide created to help businesses transition their payment infrastructure from existing Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to the Exirom payment platform. The documentation provides step-by-step guidance for migrating authentication workflows, payment endpoints, webhook handling, tokenization flows, payouts, refunds, and recurring billing systems while minimizing operational disruption during production cutover.

The guide explains the architectural differences between traditional PSP integrations and Exirom’s API ecosystem, including JWT-based authentication, RESTful endpoint structures, request idempotency, callback-based transaction handling, 3D Secure flows, and payment token management. It also includes migration strategies, sandbox testing procedures, and production validation recommendations to help merchants safely move live payment traffic to Exirom.

As the Technical Writer and API Documentation Specialist for this project, I was responsible for creating and organizing the complete migration documentation experience for the Exirom platform. My responsibilities included writing migration workflows, API transition guides, webhook integration instructions, authentication documentation, endpoint mapping references, and sandbox testing procedures.

I translated complex payment processing concepts into clear and developer-friendly documentation that could be easily followed by engineering teams during live PSP migration projects. I also structured comparison tables between legacy PSP APIs and Exirom APIs to simplify onboarding and reduce migration complexity for developers.
