Knit
About the Project
Section titled “About the Project”Knit is a developer-focused AI agent and conversational assistant platform designed to help developers build, manage, and integrate Large Language Model (LLM)-powered conversational workflows using the Anthropic Claude API. The project provides both a command-line interface (CLI) and a REST API server that support persistent conversation memory, persona-based AI interactions, session management, and customizable AI behavior for multi-turn conversations.
The platform enables developers to create intelligent AI-powered assistants that can maintain conversational context, process user interactions, and support different personas such as research assistants, productivity coaches, and general-purpose AI agents.
My Role
Section titled “My Role”As the Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist for this project, I was responsible for creating and organizing the complete technical documentation for the Knit platform. My responsibilities included documenting the AI agent architecture, REST API endpoints, CLI workflows, session management process, memory handling logic, persona configuration system, environment setup instructions, and developer integration workflows.
I also structured the documentation using MDX and Markdown formats, created developer-friendly setup guides and API references, documented request-response examples, and simplified complex AI and LLM concepts into clear and easy-to-understand technical content for developers and platform administrators.
