BrightData
About the Project
Section titled “About the Project”BrightData is a web data platform that provides developers and businesses with scalable proxy infrastructure, web scraping tools, dataset delivery systems, and automation capabilities for collecting publicly available web data. The BrightData Documentation project was created to help developers understand proxy configuration, scraper APIs, dataset management, browser automation, authentication workflows, and large-scale web data extraction processes.
The documentation was designed to guide developers, data engineers, and platform integrators through account setup, proxy network integration, API authentication, scraper deployment, dataset retrieval, session management, and automation workflows using BrightData services and APIs.
My Role
Section titled “My Role”As the Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist for this project, I was responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining the technical documentation for the BrightData platform.
I structured developer guides and API reference documentation using MDX and Markdown formats, authored onboarding and integration walkthroughs for proxy and scraping services, documented authentication flows and API request parameters, and ensured the documentation provided clear implementation guidance for developers integrating BrightData into their data collection and automation workflows.
I also worked on simplifying complex technical concepts related to proxy infrastructure, rotating sessions, browser automation, and web scraping pipelines to make the platform more accessible for both beginner and advanced developers.
