About the Project
Section titled “About the Project”Wave Financial is an accounting and financial management platform designed for small businesses, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. The Wave Financial API Integration Guide was created to help developers understand how to connect Wave’s financial data and accounting workflows into their own applications, automate invoicing and payment processes, and build integrations using Wave’s API endpoints.
The project documentation was created to help developers, fintech engineers, and integration specialists understand Wave’s API authentication model, invoice management endpoints, payment processing flows, customer data handling, webhook configuration, and data synchronization patterns.
My Role
Section titled “My Role”As the Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist for this project, I was responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining the technical documentation for the Wave Financial API Integration Guide.
I structured API integration documentation using MDX and Markdown formats, authored step-by-step walkthroughs for common financial workflows such as invoice creation and payment processing, documented endpoint parameters and response schemas, and ensured the documentation was accessible and actionable for developers building financial integrations.
