About the Project

LiteAPI is a travel technology platform that provides developers and travel businesses with a comprehensive REST API for searching, booking, and managing hotel accommodations worldwide. The LiteAPI References and Guides Documentation was created to help developers understand API authentication, hotel search endpoints, booking workflows, rate management, cancellation policies, and advanced travel data query capabilities.

The project documentation was created to help travel tech developers, OTA engineers, and platform integrators understand API endpoint structures, hotel content retrieval, availability search parameters, booking confirmation flows, guest management, payment processing, and data normalization across global hotel inventory.

My Role

As the Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist for this project, I was responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining the technical documentation for the LiteAPI References and Guides.

I structured REST API reference documentation and developer guides using MDX and Markdown formats, authored end-to-end booking workflow walkthroughs, documented endpoint parameters and response schemas for hotel search and booking APIs, and ensured the documentation supported developers in building production-ready travel applications on top of the LiteAPI platform.
